Our History
Space Age Fuel, a family-owned business, was incorporated in 1982. The principals in the business, Harold and Jim Pliska, are father and son and have 60 years of petroleum experience between them. Our office and sales staff are very knowledgeable, with over 58 combined years in the industry.
Over these many years, we have witnessed many changes in the petroleum industry and keep up with this ever changing market by constantly modifying and innovating our business.
However, two thing always remain the same – our service and our loyalty to our customers.
A growing enterprise
Over the years, Space Age Fuel Inc. has managed rapid but controlled growth. Space Age Fuel Inc. is one of the largest independent marketers in Oregon.
Space Age Fuel consists of four divisions:
- the company-operated stations
- commercial sales accounts
- commercial freight deliveries
- home heating oil deliveries.
Currently, we operate 15 truck and trailers in the Pacific Northwest. We deliver in the states of Oregon and Washington.
We have concentrated on building our Space Age brand. We operate twenty-one locations under the Space Age name and supply another 100 retail and wholesale fueling facilities.
We sell both unbranded and branded products. Our branded products are primarly with with Exxon and ConocoPhillips (which includes Phillips 66 and Union 76 brands). We have the same level of commitment to excellence to Exxon and ConocoPhillips as our own Space Age Fuel.
We transport fuel for other petroleum companies when needed.
